PROLOGO. Formazione musicale

PROLOGUE. Musical studies

_Inizia negli anni 90' lo studio del pianoforte jazz con Paolo Birro e di arrangiamento con Marcello Tonolo ai corsi del Suono Improvviso a Venezia. _Nel 2000 vince, presso l' Officina Musicale di Mogliano Veneto -TV, una borsa di studio per i seminari della Berklee a Perugia._ Al Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste, fra il 2003 e il 2006, approfondisce lo studio del jazz con Glauco Venier e soprattutto di composizione contemporanea con Fabio Nieder. _Seminari di alta specializzazione con: Kenny Wheeler (Gorizia 2001); Roswell Rudd, Franco D'Andrea, Maurizio Giammarco, Anke Helfrich (Merano, 2011); John Taylor (Bertinoro, 2011); Stefano Battaglia, Alberto Mandarini, Andy Sheppard (Laurino 2013).

Nel 2002 pubblica Elisewin, il primo disco a proprio nome contenente 10 composizioni originali (David Boato, Marcello Allulli, Salvatore Maiore, Zeno De Rossi). _ Ideatore e organizzatore di Myfavoritìngs, festival di musica originale che, dal 2008, si svolge nella provincia di Venezia ( Auditorium Candiani di Mestre e al Teatro Elios di Scorzè, ex convento S. Cosma e Damiano dell'isola della Giudecca e altri luoghi). _Dal festival nasce anche, nel 2009, l'Orchestra Componibile, ensemble-laboratorio di scrittura musicale e improvvisazione per il quale scrive e con cui incide nel 2010 'Orchestra Componibile – musica per piccolo orchestra e 5 direttori', e nel 2012 'Pass Part Out' con le note di copertina di Roswell Rudd. _Nel dicembre 2011 l'Orchestra Componibile ospita Maurizio Giammarco il quale scrive un brano e una suite per l'ensemble e partecipa al progetto anche come solista. _Nel 2011 fonda Quadrivio, quartetto completato da Giovanni Masiero (sax tenore), Salvatore Pinello (contrabbasso) e Igor Checchini (batteria), con cui incide un disco per l’etichetta Zone di Musica.

Nel 2015 è fra i 5 finalisti al Concorso Internazionale di Composizione per Big Band di Barga Jazz con il brano Zavrel. _Con Macchinisti (trio di improvvisazione radicale completato da Tony Costantini al trombone e Fedrico Della Puppa alla chitarra ed elettronica) si esibisce in diverse performance e tiene seminari sull’improvvisazione (Lanificio Paoletti, Follina, TV – 14 Maggio 2016; Chiostro SS. Cosma e Damiano, Giudecca, Venezia, 21 Agosto 2017; Villa Marignana Toni Benetton, Mogliano Veneto, TV - 16 September 2017).  _Dal 2018 si esibisce con la cantante Franca Pullia nel duo Talking frogs.  _Con la stessa fonda anche il collettivo prog Tania del Circo.

Dal 2000 svolge intensa attività didattica in diverse scuole di musica della provincia di Venezia e Treviso. _Dal 2016 tiene workshop di Tecniche Compositive ('Non sono Mozart!') e di armonia creativa ('Quale armonia?') presso diverse Scuole di Musica del Veneto (Miles Davis School -Mestre-; Artface School –Villorba; Thelonious Monk - Mira) e via skype.

Nel 2013 ha partecipato a diversi concorsi letterari vincendo il Primo Premio di 'Centorighe' (Firenze) e il Secondo Premio del concorso Coniugi Boccaccio (Ovada - Alessandria). Il primo gli è valso 500 euro, il secondo una cassetta di prodotti tipici piemontesi (mai ritirata).­
